Under the Smart Cities Mission, India has
100 new cities lined up for urban renewal
and retrofitting - in order to make them
more sustainable and citizen-friendly.
India’s Smart Cities Mission will impact a
total urban population of approximately
100 Mn.
India has jumped 53 places in 2 years,
and is now 77th in World Bank’s Ease of
Doing Business Report 2019 (100 in
2018, 130 in 2017).
By 2040, urban development in India is
estimated to require USD 4.5 Tn
in investment.
Maybe it's the
building blocks.
